There are usually name tags on the cube chairs. We don't have individual desks.

Picked up those cute carpets at IKEA.

My TV is used as my teeny tiny projector for my teeny tiny classroom. You can see my ELMO on my desk too.

My most popular pin...

Have some old photo albums? Turn them into flashcard fun! You can add flash cards, index cards, anything goes!

Everyone needs one of these posted right by their door or desk...

Please note that we are coming to the end of the school year, please excuse the piles of junk! On my to do list is re-vamp my room! SO consider these the before pictures...

Before you come in, make sure we're here!

Turn you papers in here! Not done yet? That's okay, there's a spot for that too!

Close up of the art supplies

My standards are so cute!

Coins & rules (there on the right). I don't know why the quarter looks that color...

Dubbed the "Center Shelf." Students can choose a game to play when finished with their work during centers.

Kaplan's Depth and Complexity Icons in an inclusive kindergarten classroom? YES YOU CAN!

You know what you can't do? Teach kindergarten without a sink! Somehow we make it work with this...

Don't you love when they are all on task? I'm so proud!

"The Blue Bookshelf" More supplies, labeled and ready to go!

  1. Your room is so open! I really like all the primary colors throughout the room too. Where did you get those chairs you have around your whole group area?

    1. Thanks Samantha! I have a teeny-tiny classroom, so I have to make the most of my space. Come back in August for new pictures, I've moved some things around. The chairs you can get at Lakeshore but they are really expensive. In all the other kindergarten classrooms at my school, they have 22 cube chairs (for each student) but I sacrificed some of mine for more space and cute carpet squares.

  2. I love looking at classroom pics! I see Open Court phonics on the wall. We use these as well.

I'm in LOVE with the cube chairs! Where did you get those?

    1. Hey Crystal! The cube chairs came with my classroom when I started but I know that Lakeshore sells them.
Stay tuned for updated pictures of my classroom!

    1. Thank you! And thanks for pointing that out, I just realized that these are all pictures from my classroom last year... I'll have to put up this year's pictures soon. The poems can be found at my TPT store called Number Formation Poems. They look much different now!
      =)
      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I have a teeny tiny room, too! I put all my tables in the middle so the kids are all together when we work, but I absolutely love how open all of that looks......something to really think about for next year! I have got a lot of great ideas from your blog just in the last couple of days since I started following. Love it!

  5. I bought those same Ikea carpets that year! I love the colors in your room! Are the coin designs yours? Are they available on your TpT page? Thanks!

  6. The teacher allowed me and my son to tour her facility, and actually encouraged parents to aid in their child's transition by attending the school for a week with child.
