Your room is so open! I really like all the primary colors throughout the room too. Where did you get those chairs you have around your whole group area?
ReplyDeleteThanks Samantha! I have a teeny-tiny classroom, so I have to make the most of my space. Come back in August for new pictures, I've moved some things around. The chairs you can get at Lakeshore but they are really expensive. In all the other kindergarten classrooms at my school, they have 22 cube chairs (for each student) but I sacrificed some of mine for more space and cute carpet squares.

I love looking at classroom pics! I see Open Court phonics on the wall. We use these as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm in LOVE with the cube chairs! Where did you get those?

What a wonderful room you've created for your students!!! I would love to know those number rhymes you have {the no. 9 is shown in your post} in the pic to the left of your rules and coins photo. Please do share! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! And thanks for pointing that out, I just realized that these are all pictures from my classroom last year... I'll have to put up this year's pictures soon. The poems can be found at my TPT store called Number Formation Poems. They look much different now!

I have a teeny tiny room, too! I put all my tables in the middle so the kids are all together when we work, but I absolutely love how open all of that looks......something to really think about for next year! I have got a lot of great ideas from your blog just in the last couple of days since I started following. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI bought those same Ikea carpets that year! I love the colors in your room! Are the coin designs yours? Are they available on your TpT page? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe teacher allowed me and my son to tour her facility, and actually encouraged parents to aid in their child's transition by attending the school for a week with child.
